The guesthouse and its staff offers a pleasant stay. The rooms are large enough to rest comfortably in on those occasional windy days. The common areas shared with the other are large open areas where you are well seperated from other guests. The lounge and deck offers a superb ocean view. From both you can viewing the breaking waves, reefs and all the other activities happening on the beach. The guest house has direct access to the beach from there braai area. This is the perfect location if you love the beach and do not want the hassel to drive. Truely a good, go-to location.

I have been coming to JBay for years. It's truly one of my favorite places on earth to catch a wave and get away, while still having all the comforts of home....and then some. Soul Searchers is in the perfect spot in JBay because you're right near all the best surf breaks, minutes away from shops & restaurants, but also have the wide open beach right outside your door. There is a vibe of total comfort and serenity that you can get at Soul Searchers that is hard to find anywhere in the world. I'll definitely be coming back . . . and wish I never had to leave.

I always like to feel close to the elements and here, whether indoors or out, the expance of sun, sea and sky in their ever changing hues are just spectacular. The sitting room is full of light and oh so comfortable with its big sofas and open space. The beach is literally a few steps away and I loved swimming in the rock pools with the incoming tide. Our room was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated in simple elegance. We arrived in pouring rain and in the dark so it was wonderful to find Tanya with the garage doors open and all the lights on.
